What do I do with my lobsters when they arrive?
After we catch our live lobsters we keep them in our specially designed refrigerated salt water tanks at 36'F (this allows the lobsters to remain in their natural cool habitat), lobsters like the cold! Every lobster you order from TheLobsterGuy.com will be packed with care and shipped "ice cold" overnight in Styrofoam containers with icy cold gel packs. If you decide not to cook your lobsters upon arrival, they should be removed from their shipping container and stored in your cold refrigerator overnight but remember keep them upright dry and cold!...( You can place the packing paper and gel packs back on top of them in your fridge to ensure they are cold! Again, BE SURE TO KEEP THEM COLD AND DRY and DO NOT IMMERSE THE LOBSTERS IN ANY KIND OF WATER! REMEMBER,COLD AND DRY!
How do I cook my lobsters and seafood?
It' all depends on the cooking method you have planned and the way in which they are to be prepared, though we strongly suggest live lobsters are best simply steamed, and not boiled! Please follow the enclosed Lobsterguy cooking directions included in your order with preferred cooking times! We also provide care instructions as well as cooking times for all of of our great products which will come in the box with your order.

excellent product
I ordered by phone an they were very helpful. My daughter in law does not eat meat and I stress every Thanksgiving on what to cook. Lobsters were the perfect answer and the envy of all my friends that were dealing with turkey. Makes great gifts to send to my sons, who are difficult to buy for and I don't have to go to the post office.

Just wanted to say thank you! I was a little nervous ordering and sending live lobsters from a website, but was extremely happy with the outcome.
My sister attended medical school in Maine and ate lots of lobster while she was there. She moved to Maryland and commented several times that she really missed Maine lobster. So for her birthday, I sent her lobsters.The delivery was made earlier than the estimated time on my email notification, and according to my sister, the lobster was delicious!!!! She also said she really appreciated the cooking instructions as she has always boiled rather than steamed lobster.
I really wanted to thank you for helping to me to give my sister a birthday gift she really enjoyed.
