How long do Mailed Certificates take to arrive?
We mail out Gift Certificate orders placed that same day every night by 5pm.
Typically, Mailed Gift Certificates take about 3-5 business days, and times may vary depending on the distance the certificate must travel.

What if I need a Mailed Certificate sooner?
In a pinch? Last minute? We do offer Fed Ex overnight envelopes for our mailed Gift Certificates for an additional Fed Ex $25.00 flat fee which can be selected at checkout, it's your backup plan!
Can I redeem a Paper (Mailed) Gift Certificate online?
All paper (Mailed) gift certificates must be redeemed over the phone by calling us toll-free at 1-866-788-0004, or shoot us an email @ sales@thelobsterguy.com with your name, number and Gift Certificate number and we'll give you a call right back and get you going!
Do your Gift Certificates expire?
Nope, Our E-Gift Certificates, Monetary or Product Gift Certificates do not expire!

Can I order an e-gift certificate for a product?
Sorry, Unfortunately our E-Gift Certificates are only available in monetary amounts but can be redeemed for any of our products!
Does a product Gift Certificate expire?
Nope, our product Gift Certificates remains valid for one full year before it transfers to it's monetary value, and it will never expire. This serves as a safeguard against inflation, and yes we hate that as much as you do!
Gift Certificate Tips
What should I do if I want to give someone a product Gift Certificate but I want it give it to them myself?
No problem! If you would like to personally give your recipient a product gift certificate, that's easy! Please still put their information in for the recipient at checkout so that shipping is calculated properly for their eventual redemption, and then in the comments section at checkout just request that the certificate be mailed to you at your billing address! We'll pack it so you can open the mailing envelope and it will be all in there for you ready to go!
