What do I do with my lobsters when they arrive?
After we catch our live lobsters we keep them in our specially designed refrigerated salt water tanks at 36'F (this allows the lobsters to remain in their natural cool habitat), lobsters like the cold! Every lobster you order from TheLobsterGuy.com will be packed with care and shipped "ice cold" overnight in Styrofoam containers with icy cold gel packs. If you decide not to cook your lobsters upon arrival, they should be removed from their shipping container and stored in your cold refrigerator overnight but remember keep them upright dry and cold!...( You can place the packing paper and gel packs back on top of them in your fridge to ensure they are cold! Again, BE SURE TO KEEP THEM COLD AND DRY and DO NOT IMMERSE THE LOBSTERS IN ANY KIND OF WATER! REMEMBER,COLD AND DRY!
How do I cook my lobsters and seafood?
It' all depends on the cooking method you have planned and the way in which they are to be prepared, though we strongly suggest live lobsters are best simply steamed, and not boiled! Please follow the enclosed Lobsterguy cooking directions included in your order with preferred cooking times! We also provide care instructions as well as cooking times for all of of our great products which will come in the box with your order.

I love Lobster
I ordered live jumbo Lobsters for a party I was hosting. The came the day before the event, all was live and healthy. The instructions was excellent and they were the hit of the event. Everyone enjoyed them, now we are looking to do it again and Lobster guy is the only way to go in my opinion.

Family of Seven Affair
Ordered up a dozen for the family of 3,11,13,15,18,36,60+ and we cleaned them up along with some wonderful sweet steamers. The 3 yo cleaned his own and says wants 2 next time (soon). We live in Alaska and find the Mainers more reasonable and tasty than the King Crab. Maybe will do one big and another dozen great service.

Top Ten!!!!!
Ordered a 5lb. lobster, stuffed shrimp, and lobster bisque to be overnighted to southern California, received at 11 a.m, drove to our cabin in the mountains, and dined around 6 p.m. with a lively lobster and meal my girl and I thoroughly enjoyed. We were especially pleased with the bisque, sure to order again, thanks.

Dear Capt Tim, Shannon, Chrissy, Julio, 1st Mate Matt Holcomb, and all Lobster Guy Associates and CE crew:
Once again, just as I have always received on my previous orders, you all came through with fantastic support on my special order and incredibly terrific food for my early Father's Day dinner on June 04 '14. How refreshing it is to receive such fast, personal, and pleasant service from you all and to top it off, to continually have our orders arrive so early here in Sacramento.
First of all: Thank you so kindly for sending the jumbo (9.2 lb) lobster. [When I ordered my father's day dinner back in mid-May, I had great confidence that you, Capt Tim, and your crew could catch me one bigger that 5 1/2 lb.] Also, I am not refuting the message you convey on your web site; but, that 9.2 lb lobster was just as sweet, tender, and tasty as any of your 1 1/2 lb to 2 lb sizes. I am not exaggerating. I steamed it exactly as your cooking instructions were written and it turned out absolutely marvelous. It was the highpoint to an extraordinary dinner.
Of continuing special note is the fact your 2 orders of Salt Pond Oysters were "out-of-this-world" and believe me, your finest restaurants in Boston, Providence, and New York DO NOT serve such fabulous oysters. No way. My wife and I are not great cooks, so it absolutely is the wonderful quality of your food. While the other items ordered were special, I also want to point out that your 2 orders of stuffed scallops and 2 orders of Nantucket Sea Scallops were superb.
In closing, Capt Tim, your business model is "spot on" and the quality of your lobsters and other food items are truly fabulous. I submit for your consideration, my heartfelt recommendation that you not change anything you, and your associates, are doing. Without a doubt, you are already THE BEST.

BIG lobster
My husband ordered a 6 lb lobster for Valentine's Day, it was shipped over night and hand delivered to my door in Vancouver, WA and all I could say was it was the freshest, sweetest most amazing lobster I have ever had.
